It contains high level of omega-3 essential fatty acids particularly the alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and omega-6 fatty acids. It is beneficial in the management of chronic inflammatory disorders and immune disorders.

Flaxseed oil is said to be the appropriate natural food supplement for dogs, cats & horses. It can help in joint and mobility in arthritis and also for dry itchy skin.
