This mineral is so important to the body’s ability to properly function that it will use stores of the calcium contained in your bones and teeth if you don’t get enough of it in your diet.

The best food source of calcium is raw, unpasteurized milk, which is hard to find in most areas. The calcium found in conventional pasteurized milk is largely insoluble, leaving it unable to be absorbed by the body.

There are other food sources that are rich in calcium, such as spinach, mustard, turnip and collard greens, and sesame seeds, but even those are best combined with Vitamin D to increase the body’s ability to absorb their benefits.

Natural coral calcium supplements are an option that contains large amounts of soluble calcium. Anyone looking to increase their calcium intake naturally should consider including coral calcium supplements in their diet.
